G'day Y'all

Welcome to Tarcoola Ranch, where two Aussies are living the Texas dream and breeding pedigree Longhorns.  In 2003 we decided to start a hobby and breed Texas Longhorns. Today, it's a passion and our philosophy is simple, keep the herd small and manageable, introduce great genes, and breed for horn,  color, conformation and demeaner. Our breeding program utilizes pasture breeding and AI to produce the best possible Texas Longhorns for sale.

As proud Aussies, we wanted to keep an Australian association with our ranch so we introduced an Aboriginal theme to the ranch and the Texas Longhorns we breed.  We named our ranch "Tarcoola", the aboriginal word for "bend in the river" as our little piece of Texas sits along the mighty Colorado River as it curves its way through the pine forests of Bastrop, Texas.
